Kronos Quartet’s twentieth concert at the Théâtre de la Ville will be yet another evening dedicated to the discovery of hitherto unheard music. The programme offers works commissioned from young composers: String Quartet n°4 "A Cradle Song", by Poland's
Hanna Kulenty, "…hold me, neighbour, in the storm…" by
Aleksandra Vrebalov of Serbia, and "Rangin Kaman (The Rainbow)", by
Homayoun Sakhi, the Afghan rubâb virtuoso, who has already performed several times at the Théâtre de la Ville in the TDV series. Enchanting surprises guaranteed all round.
