A night of acoustic pleasures by the canal with a great lineup.

Richard Swift began performing and singing in Quaker churches around the age of fourteen and began writing and recording his material at home not long after. After a number of interesting initial releases, 2004 saw the release of the double-disc "The Richard Swift Collection Vol. 1", and Swift's signing to Secretly Canadian. Swift's career has soared since then, particularly thanks to his 2007 album "Dressed Up For the Letdown", widely praised as his best work to date.

Joining Mr Swift this evening will be Anglo-Franco folktronica singer-songwriter Jeremy Walmsley and fairy-tale indie-popsters Golden Silvers.
