Originally formed at the end of the last decade as
Air's backing band,
Phoenix have definitely gone on to find their own fans - from their first hits "
If I Ever Feel Better" and "
Too Young" via the unfathomably catchy "
Everything Is Everything" to their new album "
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix", their songwriting, of-the-nowness and production goes from strength to strength. The new album is co-produced by
Philippe Zdar too, which can only help.
