Elliott Sharp is a computer music researcher, composer for dance and film and multi instrumentalist best known for his guitar work. He has worked with the
Ensemble Modern, qawwali singer
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the legendary bluesmen
Hubert Sumlin and
Pops Staples,
John Zorn,
Fred Frith... the list goes on.
Sharp will appear in duet with Berlin pianist, composer and improvisor
Reinhold Friedl, the force behind the awesome
Zeitkratzer label.
The duo will be followed by guitarist
Olivier Benoit, whose multi-genre and cross-disciplinary research and activism has provided the world of modern music with some of it's most incisive improvisory and experimental moments in recent years.
