Latifa Echakhch

Latifa Echakhch was born in 1974 in El Khnansa, Morocco. She lives and works in Paris and Switzerland. Her work is often social-political and challenges our cultural associations and heritage. Through deconstruction and reconstruction of everyday objects, often objects related to her own cultural heritage, Echakhch seeks to question and challenge perceptions of cultural identity.
