A phenomena which has swept through the bars of Ménilmontant, and ending in a collaboration and furious adaptation of
Manu Chao’s Clandestino.
La Caravane is a musical fusion of traditional world music and rock.
El Gafla’s melodies resemble the banks of the Mediterranean with a mix of chaâbi, jazz manouche and French chanson and a dash of African groove and oriental resonance. In French, Arabic and kabyle, lead singer Karim sings just as well about melancholia as he does about celebration and love.
