Fink, AKA Bristol born Fin Greenall, appears at Café de la Danse tonight as the touring trio completed by Guy Whittaker (bass) and Tim Thornton (drums).
Greenall's recording career began as an electronica artist with
Ninja Tune's release of the album "Fresh Produce" in 2001, but it was his first studio recording as a vocalist - 2006's "Biscuits For Breakfast" - that saw him emerge as the labels' first singer-songwriter. Built around his bluesy voice, finger-picking acoustic guitar and the stripped-back live rhythm section, "Biscuits" boasted a fledgling pop sensibility while retaining the signature Ninja Tune vibe.
The new album, "
Sort of Revolution", was released last month.
