This is the 3rd edition of the
Festen Party, and the lineup is promising.
First: the lowtech music project
Pocketmaster. Constructed from Nintendo, Korg and Midibox units from way back when, Pocketmaster's sound is pure retro and very, very future. If that's possible.
Next up, and following in the Gameboy vibe, we have
Meneo. The duo use the hallowed 8-bit objects to create a sonic and visual experience, all searing glitchy electro and tropical Mario style melodies.
Finally, formed of the urban legends
Eat Rabbit and Clark Alto, the duo
Mr Dauphin And Alto Crack bring us their uniquely crazed brand of lo-fi electronica.
If any of that sounds remotely sane, the
Renardo Crew will be sure to put a stop to any semblance of normality with their eclectic and unhinged addition to the party.
