Up and coming (we reckon) post-rock/new folk/shoegazer
Arch Woodmann is a strange creature - imagine Kevin Drew fused with Sun Ra (don't picture it, just image the sound) or Iron and Wine on some sort of fungal super-steroids. Either way, the mix of wall-of-sound washes and intimate new-folk noodles, "Sea Change" era Beck style acoustic anthems and classical structures ensures a spellbinding, musically diverse but coherent experience.
We also like the fact that the only way to buy his music is to send a cheque to his house. Ace.
