It's not often that a genuinely underground band makes the Occidental trip in this direction, but
Tokyo Ska Paradise have done just that. The crew cut their teeth on the live street and club scene in late 80's Tokyo, and by the mid 90's they were attracting crowds of 10,000 plus.
Their following in the west has built steadily over the last decade since their first European tours, and a recent "Best Of" should secure the foundatinos of what will certainly be an entertsaining bunch of shows in France, including
Montreux Jazz Festival and
Eurockeennes.
