The Balkan phenomenon which has come to be know as
Gypsy Sound System is described by it's founders,
DJ Olga and
Dr Schnaps, as a "mixture between elctrogypsy, raggaklezmer, balkanicfire, orientaltriphop, indiandrumandbass, spanishrumba, populardrunksongs"...
Whatever the agenda, this is bound to be one of the most highly charged schoolnight events this week - count on searing gypsy fanfares, big balkan beats and plenty of energy.
