Femi Kuti has pushed Nigerian music forward from the raw, dynamic polyrhythms of his father’s sound to include influences as diverse as US/European dance music, modern pop structures and the energy of the emerging Lagos scene.
Femi’s performances with Positive Force retain the energy and drama of his father’s live shows, and this should be a pretty special event.
