A very welcome visit from Andy Cabic's band of touring folk surrealists. A stellar cast has graced
Vetiver's lineup over the years (including, at times,
Devendra Banhart and
Joanna Newsom), and the current incarnation is producing some of their best material to date. The latest offering, "Tight Knit", was released on
Sub Pop this year to significant critical acclaim, and rightly so - it's a hypnotic, alluring, midtempo mantra with impressive attention to detail.
