The 7 Fingers was founded in Montreal in 2002 by seven seasoned circus performers; friends who had worked together in such prestigious companies as the
Cirque du Soleil.
In Traces, The 7 Fingers choose to feature on stage 5 young artists fresh out of circus school, all in their early twenties, mixing classic acrobatics with such street forms as skateboard, basketball, and parcours. The result is the same intimate circus experience yet with a more urban flavour and a dynamic energy.
