Belgian duo
Soulwax have graced the airwaves under a number of names, notably
Flying Dewaele Brothers,
2 Many DJs and Kawasaki. The brothers have remained on the front edge of the alt/indie/dance scene for the last decade, their five albums over this period including original material as well as remixes for
Daft Punk,
LCD Soundsystem,
The Gossip and
Gorillaz.
Last year's Soulwax-mas in Flanders Expo was a huge hit, and featured many of tonight's lineup: friend of the band
Tiga, UK beat smith
Riton and Das Pop to name a few.
Soulwax contributed massively to the formation of "Bastard Pop" as a genre, and that's a fair measure of what you can expect tonight. Check any of their
