François Dufaux has always liked to construct, invent, and create universes which tell stories. After his fine art studies in Paris he moved to photography as a means of expression, working with portrait and people. After an exhibition at Vivienne Art Galerie in 2008, “Les monstres” comes to la Bellevilloise. A culmination of previous work. Starting from imperfection and the wear and tear of tiny figurines and working with material and light he brings life to each, leading us to a new universe.
