For his new solo exhibition, Jean-Luc Blanc presents paintings and drawings from the period 1986-2009. Blanc’s imagery is borrowed from cinema; the artist appropriating framing, faces and scenes to recreate his personal universe. In Which one the First (2008), Banc explores the permanence and exactness of photographic reproducibility.
