Tony Allen. As drummer and musical director of
Fela Kuti's Africa 70, Allen brought the new style to the world and continues to push things forward through his solo work and projects with
Sebastian Tellier,
Air and
The Good, the Bad and the Queen amongst others.
Tony Allen is joined tonight by Quannum-affiliated keyboard wizard
General Elektriks, Cincinnati hip hop originators
Iswhat?! and
Jazz Liberatorz crew member DJ Damage.
