As the south west begins to recover from Klaus (though alerts remain), and the capital from Tiberi, one Parisian establishment has noticed a different sort of wind change, and acted on it: the Louvre's first ever comic strip expo opened last week. They aren't the only ones pushing things forward: Tino Sehgal's "staged situations", the power-improv of Offonoff and Keiichiro Shibuya's ATAK collective are all widening the artistic horizons of our city this week. If you like your horizons exactly as they are, however, tradition comes in a number of flavours from the Romainian fanfares of Balkan Beats to the social commentary of Agnes Varda, the desert arias of Zarsanga to the gypsy jazz of Debout Sur Le Zinc.
