The Parisian

Shiny New Dancefloors.

Welcome to The Parisian, your source for what's on this week, and this weekend, in Paris. Looking for clubs, gigs, art shows, exhibitions, film, dance and theatre in Paris? We sort through hundreds of events every week and bring you the cream of the crop.

The main focus of this week's activity is centered around a rather special event - the opening of Paris' newest cultural institution, La Gaîté Lyrique. To celebrate it's birth, the building flings open its doors this week with five days of brilliantly programmed events, all completely free of charge. Make your way down there to hear Konono N°1, Lucky Dragons, Zombie Zombie, Brian Eno, Thomas Ankersmit, Matthew Herbert, James Murphy or any one of the other superb guest on the schedule this week.

In other news, Philip Jeck is in town this week with his dusty records, as is Isolée, Robag Wruhme and the Crosstown Rebels crew. And there's a vernissage of Patrick Guns' new exhibition.

See you out there.

Many thanks to this week's sponsor, bombshop.
