Strange, silly, sad.

Welcome to The Parisian, your source for what's on this week, and this weekend, in Paris. Looking for clubs, gigs, art shows, exhibitions, film, dance and theatre in Paris? We sort through hundreds of events every week and bring you the cream of the crop.

Strange, silly and sad things are afoot this week... the great Maurice Jarre passed away, France got a little bit bigger, the government became a bit more like a TV show, Paris is getting a six million euro Pentagon style bunker, and Mr Le Pen continued his bizarre and tragically misinformed path through public life. Meanwhile, the arts world pushes forwards... highlights this week include Murcof, NLF3, Errors, Metronomy, William Eggleston, Ernie Gehr, Jimpster, Arne Quinze and Alela Diane amongst many, many others.

Many thanks to this week's sponsor, bombshop.
