Dubstep, Surrealism and SwedenWelcome to The Parisian, your source for what's on this week, and this weekend, in Paris. Looking for clubs, gigs, art shows, exhibitions, film, dance and theatre in Paris? We sort through hundreds of events every week and bring you the cream of the crop.Huge variety on offer this week, but the electronic musical offerings are particularly strong. Dubstep phenomenon Melting Point and cross-genre bass pedlers Excuse My French step up to supply the heavy grooves, whilst elsewhere Digitalism, Astro and Mr Scruff turn up the volume in their very individual ways. Live music is sounding good too - Ane Brun appears as part of the Festival de Musiques Actuelles Suédoises, and later in the week the godfathers of experimental rock Pere Ubu pay us a visit. Add to that exhibitions from Anita Molinero, August Sander, Gérard Traquandi and Annette Messenger, and you have a jam packed week of audio-visual fun. Many thanks to this week's sponsor, bombshop. ![]() ![]()
