Blanket? Check. Wine? Check. Cheese? Damn right. Yes, it's time for what might just be our favourite event of the Parisian cultural calendar - the cinéma en plein air at La Villette. A truly unique, essentially Parisian and thoroughly unmissable phenomena, the annual open air filmfest celebrates it's 20th edition this year, and the lineup looks great.

If you can afford to miss one or two showings, there's some superb events in the clubs and galleries too - Toro Y Moi at the Nouveau Casino, Skream at the temporarily relocated Social Club, DJ Kentaro at What The Funk and the "All Over" group show at Galerie Martine Aboucaya are amongst the highlights.
